Extra Large Traditional sand casting flask / mould for use with all types of casting sand, including Delft, Nitrobond and Petrobond clay. The two part flask is precision made from cast iron. It allows the easy duplication. The sand casting flask features:

Held securely by four locating pins to provide greater accuracy
The void for casting is approximately 100mm x 100mm x 100mm

The flask holds the sand when a mould is being made. The accurate positioning of the cope (top box) onto the drag ( bottom box) is possible via the four integrated alignment pins.
 
Petrobond is a high oil mix bonded sand suitable for non ferrous metals, including gold, silver, aluminium,  bronze silicon bronze, manganese bronze, and brass and copper based alloys. The sand produces a fine surface finish and produces comparable results to delft clay, using the same techniques and tools. It can also be used as an alternative to green sand for larger castings and produces near die cast quality casting.
 
The sand can be reused multiple times. The casting sand is supplied  in sealed plastic bag and the kit is supplied post free.
