Traditional sand casting flask / mould for use with all types of casting sand, including Delft, Nitrobond and Petrobond clay. The two part flask is precision made from cast iron. It allows the easy duplication.
The sand casting flask features:
- Vertical & horizontal filling
- Held securely by four locating pins to provide greater accuracy
- The void for casting is approximately 115 x 72 x 55mm
- Weight 1.25kg
The flask holds the sand when a mould is being made. The accurate positioning of the cope (top box) onto the drag ( bottom box) is possible via the four integrated alignment pins.
